Simple. Private. Translated.

Texting with seniors,
in their language

MayMay lets you exchange quick messages with a parent or grandparent — even if you don't share a language. No setup, no typing, no keyboard on their end: they answer by tapping.

iMessage, WhatsApp, and Google Chat all have translation features. But setting them up — navigating settings menus, switching keyboards, managing accounts — is too much to ask of someone who isn't comfortable with technology. And for people who are hard of hearing, a phone call isn't always easy. Sometimes a quick text is all you need — if only it didn't require a tech lesson first.

MayMay is built around that gap. The senior just taps. Everything else is handled automatically.

Designed for both sides of the conversation

🌐

Automatic translation

Every message is instantly translated in both directions. Write in English, your senior reads in their language — and their replies come back in yours.

Answers written for them

Every message you send arrives with 3–4 ready-made answers that actually fit the question — written in their language, following the flow of the conversation. Ask "Did you eat lunch?" and the buttons say things like "Yes, it was delicious," not generic canned replies.

👆

No typing. No keyboard. Ever.

Seniors reply with a single tap — there is no text box on their side at all. No keyboard, no autocorrect, no wrong-language input, no confusion. If they can tap, they can text.

🔗

Simple one-time setup

Connect with a 6-digit pairing code. Share it once, and you're linked. No account creation required for the senior.

🔒

Private by design

Messages are automatically deleted on a schedule you control — from 1 to 30 days. No message history stored long-term. What you send stays between the two of you.

👨‍👩‍👧

Multiple family members

A senior can be connected to several family members at once, each with their own conversation thread and preset messages. Already connected? Invite a sibling with a shareable invite code — the senior approves them with one tap.

📷

Photo sharing that reads

Send photos both ways. And when your senior snaps a letter, bill, or notice in their language, MayMay reads it and tells you what it says — in English.

🔔

Push notifications

Both sides get notified when a new message arrives — so nothing gets missed, even when the app is in the background.

How it works

Up and running in minutes

1

Sign in as a family member or caregiver

Use your Google or Apple account. Add your senior's name and choose their language.

2

Share a pairing code with your senior

A 6-digit code appears on your screen. Read it to them or show them. It expires in 15 minutes.

3

Your senior enters the code

They open MayMay, tap the green button, and enter the code. That's it — you're connected.

4

Start messaging

Send a message in English. It arrives in their language, along with ready-made answers that fit what you asked. They tap one — you see it in English instantly.
